DTC P0464: Fuel Level Sensor Circuit - Intermittent Condition: Condition

DTC is set when Engine Control Module (ECM) detects that fuel level sensor signal is higher than expected, along with lower than expected fuel consumption. ECM continuously monitors this circuit. MIL is illuminated when ECM detects malfunction during 2 consecutive drive cycles. Possible causes are:
- Intermittent trouble in circuit between fuel level sensor, fuel level gauge and ECM.
- Fuel level sensor malfunction.
- ECM malfunction.
