A/C Compressor Relay and Condenser Fan Motor Relay Inspection

  1. Disconnect negative cable at battery.
  2. For H25 engine model 

    Remove condenser fan motor relay (2) and compressor relay (1) from vehicle.

    For H27 engine model 

    Remove condenser fan motor low speed relay (2), condenser fan motor high speed relay 1 (4), condenser fan motor high speed relay 2 (5), and compressor relay (1) from vehicle.

  3. Check that there is no continuity between terminal "c" and "d". If there is continuity, replace relay.
  4. Connect battery positive (+) terminal to terminal "b" of relay.

    Connect battery negative (-) terminal to terminal "a" of relay.

    Check continuity between terminal "c" and "d".

    If there is no continuity when relay is connected to the battery, replace relay.
