Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Removal & Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative cable (-) at battery and coupler (1) from MAF sensor (3).
  2. Remove air cleaner case (2) with MAF sensor (3).

  3. Remove bracket (1) and MAF sensor (2) from air cleaner case.
    CAUTION:
    • Do not disassemble MAF sensor.
    • Do not expose MAF sensor to any shock.
    • Do not cleansing MAF sensor.
    • If MAF sensor has been dropped, it should be replaced.
    • Do not blow compressed air by using air gun or the like.
    • Do not put finger or any other object into MAF sensor. Malfunction may occur.
