Rear-End Door / Rear-End Gate Lock Assembly Removal And Installation: Removal

Remove inside handle bezel (1) (if equipped).

Remove inside lock knob.
Remove door trim (1).
With inside handle bezel tilted as shown in figure, turn door trim 90° counterclockwise to remove it.

Remove rear-end door / rear-end gate sealing cover.
Remove rear-end door / rear-end gate lock control rod (1).
Unlock rear-end door / rear-end gate lock rod pin retainer and disconnect control rod.
Disconnect rear-end door lock motor lead wire.
Remove lock assembly.
