Front Door Lock Assembly Removal And Installation: Removal

Raise window all the way up.
Remove door trim and door sealing cover referring to Steps 1) to 7) of "Removal" in FRONT DOOR GLASS REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (2003 models) or FRONT DOOR GLASS REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (2004 models).
Remove door opening control rods (2). Unlock door lock rod pin retainer (1) and disconnect control rod (2).
Remove door lock control rod (3).

Disconnect door lock motor lead wire.
Remove lock assembly.
