Removal (Vitara)

Relieve fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Disconnect negative battery cable. On 1.6L models, detach intake manifold stiffener from front of intake manifold. On 2.0L models, remove PCV hose and breather hose.
On all models, disconnect all injector connectors. Remove fuel feed and return hose clamp retaining bolt. Remove retaining bolts from fuel rail. Lift fuel rail and remove injectors.
