Removal & Installation
Remove fuel tank. See appropriate procedure under FUEL TANK & FUEL PUMP . Clean dirt and grime from fuel tank around Fuel Tank Pressure (FTP) sensor. See Fig 1 . Disconnect FTP sensor harness connector. Loosen FTP sensor retaining bolts and remove sensor. Clean mating surfaces. Install NEW "O" ring seal to sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten FTP sensor bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
