Installation (Esteem)
- To install reassemble fuel pump/filter assembly, and install to fuel tank. Match cut out on pump assembly and fuel tank when installing pump assembly into fuel tank. Tighten fuel pump assembly bolts to 7.5 ft. lbs. (10 Nm). Go to next step.
- To install fuel tank, reverse disassembly and removal procedure. With engine off, turn ignition to ON position for 2-3 seconds to activate fuel pump. Repeat until pressure can be felt in fuel hose. Check for fuel leaks around connections. Repair fuel leaks if necessary.
