Mode Control Switch: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative cable at battery.
  2. Disable air bag system.
  3. Pull off heater control lever knobs.
  4. Remove cluster bezel by removing its mounting screws. See Figure.
  5. Remove ashtray, center mode control/radio bezel and instrument glove box compartment. See Figure.
  6. Remove mode control switch with heater control panel from heater control lever assembly. See Figure.
  7. Remove heater control panel from heater mode control switch.
