Driver-Side Air Bag Module: Removal
- Before proceeding, read air bag service precautions section. See AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
- Ensure front wheels face straight ahead. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove 2 Torx screws. Disconnect air bag and horn connectors. Remove air bag module from steering wheel. See Figure.
