DTC Confirmation Test

  1. With ignition switch OFF, connect scan tool. Turn ignition switch ON and clear DTCs. See CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
  2. Start engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature. Drive vehicle for 10 seconds or more.
  3. Stop vehicle and check DTC and pending DTC. See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  .
