Passenger-Side Air Bag Module: Removal
- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable the air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
- Passenger-side air bag module is located on right side of instrument panel. Disconnect negative battery cable. Open glove box, then while pressing glove box stopper, pull out glove box from instrument panel. Disconnect connector. Remove attaching bolts and screws. Remove air bag module from vehicle. See Figure.
