DTC P0500: Vehicle Speed Sensor Malfunction: Reference
To test VSS with an oscilloscope, backprobing at ECM connect oscilloscope between ECM harness connector E92 terminal No. 27 (Purple wire) and ground. See Figure . Also, test can be made connecting oscilloscope between instrument cluster harness connector G19 terminal No. 13 and ground. Compare VSS waveform, to waveform in illustration. See Fig 1 .
