DTC C1063/63: Fail-Safe Relay Circuit

Ensure battery is fully charged. Check ABS fuse and replace if necessary. Turn ignition off and disconnect ABS hydraulic unit/control module 34-pin electrical harness connector. Check Black/Red wire at ABS hydraulic unit/control module 34-pin electrical harness connector terminal No. 2 for proper contact and connection. If connection is okay, measure voltage of Black/Red wire between ABS hydraulic unit/control module 34-pin electrical harness connector terminal No. 2 and good body ground point. If voltage reading is 10-14 volts, substitute known-good ABS hydraulic unit/control module assembly and repeat test. If voltage reading is not 10-14 volts, repair open or short to ground in Black/Red wire between ABS hydraulic unit/control module and engine compartment fuse/relay block.
