DTC P0451: EVAP System Pressure Sensor - Range/Performance: Condition

DTC is set when Engine Control Module (ECM) detects a higher or lower voltage input from Fuel Tank Pressure (FTP) sensor than expected. ECM continuously monitors this circuit. MIL is illuminated when ECM detects malfunction during 2 consecutive drive cycles. Possible causes are:

• Short or open circuit between FTP sensor and ECM.
• FTP sensor malfunction.
• ECM malfunction.
• Fuel Tank Pressure Control Valve (FTPCV) malfunction.
