Compressor Inspection

- Use an ohmmeter (2) to check thermal switch (1) for continuity. If it is no continuity, replace it.
- Check pressure plate and rotor for wear and oil soaked conditions respectively.
- Check clutch bearing for noise, wear and grease leakage.




- Measure stator coil for resistance at 20 °C (68 °F).
If the measured resistance does not remain within the tolerance, replace coil.
