Toe Setting
Amount of toe can be obtained by subtracting "A" from "B" as shown in the figure and therefore is given in mm (in.). Measure toe with toe-in gauge (1). Toe should be within the following specification. When checked with side slip tester, side slip should satisfy the following specification. If toe-in or side slip is out of corresponding specification, adjust toe properly.
Toe-in specification 2 +/- 2 mm (0.079 +/- 0.079 in.)
Side slip specification 2 +/- 3 mm 1m (0.079 +/- 0.118 in./3.3 ft)
