A/C System Performance

  1. Park vehicle out of direct sunlight. Start engine and allow it to idle at 1500 RPM. Set A/C controls to recirculated air, panel (vent) mode, maximum cold, and A/C button on.
  2. Set blower/fan on high speed. Open all doors. Operate system until refrigerant pressures stabilize. Ensure high-side pressure is 200-227 psi (14.0-16.0 kg/cm2 ), and low-side pressure is 21.3-35.5 psi (1.5-2.5 kg/cm2 ).
