DTC P0123: Throttle Position Sensor Circuit - High Input: Condition

DTC is set when Engine Control Module (ECM) detects Throttle Position (TP) sensor voltage is more than 4.8 volts for one second. MIL is illuminated when ECM detects malfunction during first drive cycle. Possible causes are:

• Open or short to power in circuit between TP sensor and ECM.
• TP sensor malfunction.
• ECM malfunction.
