DTC Confirmation Test

Turn ignition off, connect scan tool and turn ignition on. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. See CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Start engine, turn A/C and blower motor on for 2 seconds or more. Turn A/C and blower motor off and allow engine to idle for 5 seconds. Using scan tool, check for current or pending DTC P0481. See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If DTC resets, go to DIAGNOSIS & REPAIR PROCEDURE  .
