DTC P0480: Radiator Cooling Fan Control Circuit Malfunction: Condition

DTC is set when Engine Control Module (ECM) detects low input voltage from radiator cooling fan relay with engine coolant temperature less than 199°F (93°C). ECM continuously monitors this circuit. MIL is illuminated when ECM detects malfunction during 2 consecutive drive cycles. Possible causes are:

• Short or open circuit between ignition switch and ECM.
• Radiator cooling fan relay malfunction.
• ECM malfunction.
