DTC Confirmation Test

Turn ignition off, connect scan tool and turn ignition on. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. See CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Ensure fuel tank is 1/4-3/4 full. Drive vehicle at normal speeds for 10 minutes. Stop vehicle. With ignition on, check for current or pending DTC P0451. See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If DTC is set, go to DIAGNOSIS & REPAIR PROCEDURE  .
