DTC P0446: EVAP System Vent Control Circuit Malfunction: Condition

DTC sets when fuel tank internal pressure is lower than specified for a specified period of time. MIL is illuminated when ECM detects malfunction during 2 consecutive drive cycles. Possible causes are:

• EVAP canister vent valve malfunction.
• EVAP canister clogged.
• Vacuum hose vent passage clogged.
• EVAP canister vent valve circuit malfunction.
• Fuel tank pressure sensor malfunction.
• ECM malfunction.
