DTC Confirmation Test

Turn ignition off, connect scan tool and turn ignition on. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. See CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Turn ignition off. Ensure engine coolant temperature is less than 86°F (30°C). If engine coolant temperature is 86°F (30°C) or more, allow engine to cool before proceeding. Start engine and allow it to run for 10 minutes or more. Using scan tool, check for current or pending DTC P0111. See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If DTC resets, go to DIAGNOSIS & REPAIR PROCEDURE  .
