Mode (Heater) Control Buttons

The mode control buttons controls the flow of air into the vehicle. Buttons are identified by standard icons on the front of the button. See Figure . When vent button is pressed, air is discharged from the center and side outlets of the instrument panel. When bi-level button is pressed, air is discharged from floor, center, and side outlets.

When heat button is pressed, heated air is discharged from the floor outlets only. When heat and defrost button is pressed, heated air is discharged from floor outlets and windshield and side defrost outlets. When the defrost button is pressed, heated air is discharged from the windshield and side defrost outlets.
