Connect ground to front wiper motor chassis ground (Black lead at wiper motor mounting bolt). See Fig 1 . Wiper motor should operate at low speed of about 47-57 RPM. Replace front wiper motor if wiper motor operation is not as specified. See WIPER MOTOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If wiper motor operation is as specified, go to next step.
  2. Remove jumper wire from terminal No. 1 and connect to terminal No. 2. Wiper motor should operate at high speed of about 70-84 RPM. Replace front wiper motor if wiper motor operation is not as specified. See WIPER MOTOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If wiper motor operation is as specified, go to next step.
  3. Remove jumper from terminal No. 2, and connect to terminal No. 1 (wiper operates at slow speed). Using additional jumper wires, connect 12-volt source to wiper motor terminal No. 3. Connect a jumper wire between wiper motor terminals No. 1 and 4. See Fig 1 . Wiper motor should return wiper arm to park position when terminals No. 1 and 4 are jumped. Check wiper arm park (stop location).
