Blower Motor Controller Inspection

Check blower motor controller voltage as follows:

  1. Turn ignition switch to ON position.
  2. With blower motor controller connector connected, change blower speed selector OFF to MAX and measure voltage between "b" terminal of blower motor controller connector and body ground at the same time.

Check blower motor controller resistance as follows:

  1. Disconnect blower motor controller connector.
  2. Measure resistance between "c" and "d" terminals of blower motor controller.

    If check result is not satisfactory, replace blower motor controller.

Blower motor controller resistance 

"c" - "d": approximately 1.5 k/ohms.
