Preliminary Inspection

Ensure battery is fully charged, and battery terminals are in good condition and free of corrosion. Check MAIN (80-amp) fuse in main fuse block. Check DOOR LOCK (20-amp), HAZARD (15-amp) and IG METER (20-amp) fuses in junction/fuse block. See Figure - Figure . Inspect vehicle, doors and vehicle wiring harnesses for damage. Check interior lighting and hazard warning lights for proper operation. Repair any faulty condition found as necessary, then retest power door lock and remote keyless entry system operation.
