A/C Condenser Cooling Fan Control Pressure Switch

  1. Connect manifold gauge set to charging valve.
  2. Run engine and A/C switch ON.
  3. Check continuity and no continuity between "c" and "d" terminals of A/C refrigerant pressure switch (1) according to A/C refrigerant pressure as shown.

If operation is not as specified, replace A/C refrigerant pressure switch.

Triple pressure switch specifications 

"A":  Approx. 177 kPa (1.77 kg/cm2 , 25.5 psi)

"B":  Approx. 206 kPa (2.06 kg/cm2 , 29.5 psi)

"C":  Approx. 590 kPa (5.90 kg/cm2 , 84.0 psi)

"D":  Approx. 2940 kPa (29.40 kg/cm2 , 418.0 psi)

"E":  Approx. 1080 kPa (10.80 kg/cm2 , 153.5 psi)

"F":  Approx. 1470 kPa (14.70 kg/cm2 , 209.0 psi)
