Engine Identification

Engine code is stamped on rear portion of cylinder block at bellhousing, exhaust side. Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is stamped on a metal tag attached to left side of instrument panel near pillar. The sixth character of VIN identifies engine model. See ENGINE IDENTIFICATION CODE table.
