- Check for faulty spark plug(s).
- Check for faulty ignitor/coil assembly.
- Check fuel pressure.
- Check for engine overheating.
- Check Throttle Position (TP) sensor adjustment and for faulty TP sensor.
- Check for faulty Idle Air Control (IAC) system.
- Check for faulty fast idle control System.
- Check EVAP control system.
- Check for malfunctioning EGR system.
- Check for faulty fuel injector(s).
- Check for faulty Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor.
- Check for faulty Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor.
- Check for faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
- Check for low engine compression.
- Check for malfunctioning PCV valve.
