Transmission Range Switch: Removal

  1. Remove the following manual lever components from the manual shaft:
    • The nut.
    • The washer.
    • The lever.
  2. Unstake the lock plate behind the manual shaft nut. Remove the following components from the transmission range switch:
    • The manual shaft nut.
    • The lock plate.
  3. Remove the transmission range switch retaining bolt. Remove the transmission range switch from the manual shaft. Remove the shift cable and the shift bracket.
