Forward & Direct Clutch Assembly: Removal

  1. Rotate the transmission to the upright position. Measure the height of the forward clutch against the transmission case in order to ease in assembly. See Fig 1 .
  2. Note the direction of the bearing and the bearing race for assembly. Remove the forward clutch from the transmission case. Remove the direct clutch from the transmission case. See Fig 2 .
