Removal & Installation

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheels. Use floor jack to support axle housing. Remove nuts attaching lower rod to body and axle housing. See Figure . Remove lower rod.
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. DO NOT tighten fasteners. Lower vehicle. Bounce vehicle to stabilize suspension. Tighten lower rod nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
