Overdrive & TCC Off Command Signal Circuit Check (A/T)

  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect CC ECU harness connector. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using DVOM, measure voltage between ground and CC ECU harness connector terminal No. 3 (Pink/Blue wire). See Figure . If reading is 10-14 volts, circuit is okay. If reading is not 10-14 volts, go to next step.
  2. Check all related fuses. On Esteem, check for good terminal contact at wiring harness connector terminals for Pink/Blue wire between CC ECU and Transmission Control Module (TCM). On all others, check for good terminal contact at wiring harness connector terminals for Pink/Blue wire between CC ECU and Engine Control Module (ECM/PCM). See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . On all models, replace fuses, repair wiring or poor connections as necessary. If fuses, wiring and connectors are okay, replace CC ECU with a known good unit retest.
