Lower Valve Body Reassembly

  1. Install the following primary regulator valve components:
    • The valve. See Figure .
    • The spring.
    • The plunger.
    • The sleeve.
    • The sleeve retainer.
  2. Install the following TCC lock-up control valve components. See Figure :
    • The spring.
    • The sleeve.
    • The locating pin.
  3. Install the following shift solenoid components:
    • The intermediate coast modulator valves. See Figure .
    • The intercoast modulator valve spring.
    • The low coast modulator valve spring.
    • The gasket.
    • The solenoid.
    • The bolts. Tighten shift solenoid bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  4. Install a NEW "O" Ring to the TCC solenoid. See Figure . Install the TCC solenoid. Install the TCC solenoid bolt. Tighten the bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  5. Install the following pressure relief valve components:
  6. Install the following TCC lock-up control valve plate components:
    • The gasket.
    • The plate.
    • The bolts. Tighten TCC lock-up control valve plate bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  7. Install the following lower valve body plate components:
    • The gasket.
    • The plate.
    • The bolts. Tighten lower valve body plate bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  8. Install the following components to the valve body:
    • The ball valve spring.
    • The valve body ball. See Figure .
    • The valve dampening spring.
    • The check ball.
    • The bypass valve spring.
    • The bypass valve.
