HO2S-2 Without Wu-TWC

REMOVAL (HO2S-2 WITHOUT WU-TWC)

WARNING: To avoid danger of being burned, do not touch exhaust system when system is hot. HO2S removal should be performed when system is cool.

1. Disconnect negative cable (-) at battery.
2. Remove driver's seat, if necessary.
3. Remove front left side sill scuff and turn over floor carpet, if necessary.




4. Disconnect connector (1) of HO2S-2 (without WU-TWC) (2).
5. Hoist vehicle.
6. Remove HO2S-2 (2) from exhaust pipe.

CAUTION: Be careful not to expose it to excessive shock. It may cause damage to sensor inside.

INSTALLATION
Reverse removal procedure noting the followings.
- Tighten HO2S-2 (without WU-TWC) to specified torque.

Tightening torque
HO2S-2 (without WU-TWC) (a):
45 N.m (4.5 kg.m, 32.5 lb-ft)

- Fit harness grommet to floor securely and connect connector securely.
- After installing HO2S-2 (without WU-TWC), start engine and check that no exhaust gas leakage exists.
