Ignition Cable: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION
Measure resistance of high-tension cord by using ohmmeter.

Check for damage, deterioration and terminal corrosion.

If check result is not satisfactory, replace high-tension cord(s).

High-tension cord resistance:
4 - 10 kohm/m (1.2 - 3.0 kohm/ft)
