Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor (Esteem & Swift)

Remove ECT sensor, located on thermostat housing. Place sensor in container of water. Resistance between sensor terminals should be as specified in ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR RESISTANCE  table. If resistance at given temperatures is not as specified, replace sensor.
