DTC P0340: Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction: Condition
DTC is set when Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor input voltage but no Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor input voltage with engine running. Possible causes are:
- Open or short circuit between CMP and PCM.
- CMP reluctor wheel damaged.
- CMP sensor malfunction.
- CMP sensor dirty or loose.
- CKP sensor dirty or loose.
- PCM malfunction.
