MULTIFUNCTION Switch: Swift
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Ensure front wheels are in a straight-ahead position. Disable air bag restraint system. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article.
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect multifunction switch harness connectors from junction/fuse block. Using DVOM, check for continuity across appropriate multifunction switch harness connector terminals with switch in specified position. See MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH CONTINUITY (SWIFT) table. See Figure. If continuity is not as specified, replace multifunction switch and harness assembly. See CONTACT COIL & MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
