Sensing & Diagnostic Module (SDM): Removal

Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS  . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM  . Remove center console. Disengage Connector Position Assurance (CPA) clip and disconnect connector from SDM. Remove 3 SDM retaining screws. Remove SDM from vehicle. See Figure .
