Clutch Pedal Position Switch Circuit Check (M/T)
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect CC ECU harness connector. Using DVOM, check for continuity between ground and CC ECU harness connector terminal No. 9 (Blue/Red wire on Esteem; Blue wire on all others). See Figure . With clutch pedal depressed, continuity should exist. With clutch pedal released, continuity should not exist. Go to next step.
- If continuity is not as specified, check clutch pedal position switch for proper adjustment. See CLUTCH PEDAL POSITION SWITCH under ADJUSTMENTS. If clutch pedal position switch is adjusted properly, check clutch pedal position switch. See CLUTCH PEDAL POSITION SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTS.
