Draining & Refilling

Raise the vehicle.
With transaxle is cool, remove drain plug and drain Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF). See Fig 1 .
Install drain plug gasket and drain plug to oil pan, and tighten drain plug to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Remove oil level gauge from oil filler tube, and add new fluid through oil filler tube. See RECOMMENDED FLUID .
Check fluid level, at normal temperature. See CHECKING FLUID LEVEL .
