BRAKELIGHT Switch
- Disconnect brakelight switch harness connector located near top of brake pedal. See Figure
. Remove brakelight switch from mounting bracket.
- Check for continuity between brakelight switch terminals No. 1 and 3. See Fig 1
. Continuity should exist with brakelight switch plunger fully outward. Continuity should not exist with brakelight switch plunger fully depressed.
- Check for continuity between brakelight switch terminals No. 2 and 4. Continuity should exist with brakelight switch plunger fully depressed. Continuity should not exist with brakelight switch plunger fully outward. If continuity is not as specified, replace brakelight switch. See BRAKELIGHT SWITCH
