DTC P0117: Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Circuit Low Input: Condition

DTC is set when Engine Control Module (ECM) detects low ECT voltage. MIL is illuminated when ECM detects malfunction during first drive cycle. Possible causes are:

• Shot to ground in circuit between ECT sensor and ECM.
• ECT sensor malfunction.
• ECM malfunction.
