DTC P0450: EVAP System Pressure Sensor Malfunction: Condition

DTC is set when Engine Control Module (ECM) detects high or low voltage input from Fuel Tank Pressure (FTP) sensor (indicating high or low fuel tank pressure). This is a continuous monitor. MIL is illuminated when ECM detects malfunction during 2 consecutive drive cycles. Possible causes are:

• Short or open circuit between FTP sensor and ECM.
• FTP sensor malfunction.
• ECM malfunction.
• Fuel Tank Pressure Control Valve (FTPCV) malfunction.
