ABS Light Relay: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION
1. Disconnect negative cable at battery.





2. Remove fail-safe relay from relay box.
3. Check resistance between each two terminals.
Between "1" and "3": 78 - 96 ohms at 20°C (68°F)
Between "2" and "5": Continuity
Between "4" and "5": No continuity





4. Check that there is continuity between terminals `'4" and "5" when battery is connected to terminals "1" and "3".
If check result is not as specified in Step 3) and 4), replace.
