Door Key Switch & Power Door Lock Switch Circuit
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect Power Door Lock and Remote Keyless Entry (PDL/RKE) controller harness connector. Connect negative battery cable.
- Check for continuity between ground and PDL/RKE controller connector terminal No. 8 (Brown/Yellow wire). See Figure . With driver's door key switch in neutral, continuity should not exist. With driver's door key switch in LOCK position, continuity should be present. If continuity is not as described, repair open in Brown/Yellow wire between PDL/RKE controller connector and driver's door key switch or power door lock switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Check for continuity between ground and PDL/RKE controller connector terminal No. 9 (Yellow/Black wire). See Figure . With driver's door key switch in neutral, continuity should not exist. With driver's door key switch in LOCK position, continuity should be present. If continuity is not as described, repair open in Yellow/Black wire between PDL/RKE controller connector and driver's door key switch or power door lock switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
