Transmission Range Switch: Adjustment

  1. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Place selector lever in "N" position. Align groove on switch with match mark on manual shift lever shaft. Tighten TR switch in this position. Tighten bolts to 15 ft. lbs. (20 N.m).
  2. Ensure engine starts with selector lever in "N" or "P" positions, but does not start in any other position. Ensure back-up lights illuminate with selector lever in "R" position.
